How to plan a route and get a PRIMAR charts list

Step-by-Step Instruction

  1. Open the PRIMAR online catalogue in your browser and make sure the “ENC coverage” option is enabled in the bottom-left corner.
  2. In the right-hand panel, go to the “ENC” section.
  3. In the top toolbar, select “Select ENC’s based on a route”.
  4. Use the cursor to draw a route between your departure and arrival ports — all ENCs intersecting the route will be automatically selected.
  5. Use the “Route buffer” slider to adjust the route width: the wider the buffer, the more charts will be included (this ensures coverage even if the vessel slightly deviates from the planned track).
  6. Click at the end point to finish drawing the route.
  7. With the route-planning function still active, click the basket icon “ADD route selection to basket” — all ENCs within the route coverage area will be added to the basket. If needed, select “ENC Coverage by Usagebands” to review the list.
  8. Go to the basket tab in the right-hand panel.
  9. Click “SAVE”, choose “Excel” format, and click “Upload Basket” — the ENC list will be downloaded to your computer as an Excel file.
  10. Email the Excel file to evomarine@evomarine.ru, specifying your desired licence period (from 3 to 12 months)
